At the 4th European Taxidermy Championship in Chambord (France) the taxidermist Marc Bloch returned home with two awards from this important international occasion. The national French hunting trade show, which also took place, counted more than 80`000 visitors from the 19th to the 25th of June 2000. Competitors from all over Europe but also from overseas became judged from an international jury in a total of 11 different categories. With this excellent result Marc Bloch was the most successful Swiss participant.
An der 4. Europa-Meisterschaft der Tierpräparatoren 2000 in Chambord (Frankreich) kehrte der zoologische Präparator Marc Bloch gleich mit zwei Auszeichnungen von diesem wichtigen internationalen Anlass zurück. Ueber 80`000 Besucher zählte die nationale Jagdausstellung in Chambord vom 19.-25. Juni, in deren Rahmen auch die EM der Tierpräparatoren durchgeführt wurde. Präparate aus den verschiedensten Ländern Europas wurden von einer internationalen Jury in insgesamt 11 verschiedenen Kategorien bewertet. Mit diesem hervorragendem Resultat war Marc Bloch zudem der erfolgreichste Schweizer Teilnehmer.

At the 42. International working conference of the federation of German taxidermists in Bern, the Swiss Taxidermy Competition also took place. Thus met from the 20th to the 24th numerous taxidermists of zoology, geology and medicine from Switzerland and foreign countries in the historical museum in Bern. The German participants dominated this competition. However, Taxidermist Marc Bloch from Flüh reached the "blue ribbon -1st place" in the big mammals categorie. In addition, the jury judged his mount with 94 points (from 100 possible) to the best of all issued exhibits (Best in Show-Award) Three other of his mounts became in each case 1st, 2nd and 3rd rank classified.
Anlässlich der 42. Internationalen Arbeitstagung des Verbandes Deutscher Präparatoren in Bern, fand auch der schweizerische Präparationswettbewerb statt. So trafen sich vom 20.- bis 24.5. zahlreiche Präparatoren aus den Bereichen Zoologie, Geologie und Medizin aus dem In- und Ausland im naturhistorischen Museum in Bern. Die deutschen Teilnehmer dominierten diesen Wettbewerb. Doch der zoolog. Präparator Marc Bloch aus Flüh erreichte den "Kategoriesieg" der grossen Säugetiere. Zusätzlich erkürte die Jury dieses Präparat mit 94 Punkten (von 100 möglichen) zum Besten aller ausgestellten Exponaten (Best in Show), was ihm den begehrten Gesamtsieg und den Hauptpreis einbrachte. Drei weitere seiner Präparate wurden jeweils im 1. 2. und 3. Rang eingestuft und mit einer Auszeichnung belohnt.
